It's not the answer anyone wants, and it's not a new answer. But it's the answer I've got. 

As I've said on the newsgroups, it's going to be interesting to see how the upgrade path works. 

For news on classes, there is Steve's frequent postings on how he is doing with his rewrite of classes (again, on the newsgroups).
