<description>Not sure if this is a good place to ask, or should I post in the NGs....

You seem to have the lo-down and a hand in SV's left pocket.

I know applications will have to be rethought (rewritten) from C7 to Clarion#.NET, but do you think we will be able to "psuedo-Convert" a a C7 Application to Clarion#.NET?

I would at least be able to "Import" the APP and I will manually re-edit the EMBEDs for logic.

I know ACCEPT\LOOP and EVENT oriented code will have to be revoiewed and rethought. Its the GUI I want to preserve from existing apps.

Thanks for any insights.</description>

					<description>Kevin,

According to SV, with regards to the conversion of an App to .Net:

- It's very likely that you can convert the UI with a 95-100% success rate.
- The "flow" of the application should be no problem.
- Embed code will have to be at least a partially manual process. Some embeds have a direct mapping that can be wired up, and although the code may have to be changes, it will "be there" for you to see and use.

Hope this answers your queries.

Cheers,
