The line will be ignored in normal compilation and execution. This is useful if you have chunks of debugging strewn across your program. No need to hunt through and remember to add/delete all the OMIT('***DEBUG***') statements. Oh, another thing I learned is that when you are in the Embed Code dialog in the IDE, you can turn on 'Column 1' display (just underneath the 'Priority' field on the right) which will allow you to get to column 1 of the embedded code no matter what.
